Our pop-up experiences bring Ruth’s Tea House to life through intimate, themed evenings of tea, small bites, music, conversation, nostalgia, and community—right here in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
For a few hours, we get to open the doors to the tea house we’re building toward.
And we’d love to save you a seat.
What is a Ruth’s Tea House Experience?
This isn’t simply a place to grab a cup of tea and head home.
We want you to settle in.
Each Ruth’s Tea House Experience is an intimate, themed gathering designed to give you a different way to experience Ruth’s. Some evenings may feel nostalgic and playful. Others may be cozy, creative, cultural, or centered around conversation and connection.
The theme may change, but the heart of the experience stays the same: good tea, good company, and a reason to slow down for a while.
What to Expect
🫖 Tea — A curated menu of Ruth’s Tea House teas to choose from throughout the experience.
🍪 Small Bites — Homemade bites selected to complement the evening.
🎶 Atmosphere — Music, vintage teaware, thoughtfully set tables, and details inspired by each theme.
🎟 A Little Fun — Activities, games, prizes, conversation, or other surprises depending on the experience.

Our very first Ruth’s Tea House Experience is an invitation to come in, get comfortable, and pull up a chair. Welcome Home is a cozy, nostalgia-filled evening of tea, homemade bites, music, Tea Bingo, and good conversation—our first chance to bring the feeling of Ruth’s off the screen and around the table.

Strange Brews

Things are getting a little strange at Ruth’s. Strange Brews is our playful, slightly spooky take on tea time, featuring an evening of unexpected brews, cozy fall vibes, music, games, and a few surprises along the way. Come curious, bring a friend, and see what we’ve been brewing after dark.

Most Experiences Are 18+
Unless specifically advertised as a family or youth experience, Ruth’s Tea House Experiences are intended for guests 18 and older.
Dietary Needs
Gluten-free accommodations may be available with advance notice. Please tell us about allergies or dietary restrictions when purchasing your ticket. Food is prepared in a shared commercial kitchen, so we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Limited Seating
Each experience is intentionally kept small, with no more than 25 guests. Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended.

Themes, menus, activities, and special touches may change from one experience to the next.
The Tea House We’re Building
These evenings are little glimpses of the tea house we’re building toward.
We dream of Ruth’s becoming a permanent place where people can gather over tea, read a book, listen to music, attend an event, have a conversation, or simply slow down for a while.
We aren’t inside those permanent walls yet.
So for now, we’re creating Ruth’s wherever we can.
And every person who pulls up a chair becomes part of the story.
